This new ministry is creating new doorways into parish life. Widening the road for how people become part of St. Joe's, and will help you to experience more deeply our shared traditions and faith.  Are you into photography? Are you looking for a way to write about your spirituality or your memories? Would you like a place to paint or draw? Maybe you're curious about how social media will transform the Catholic church?

What does the Media Ministry do?

We are using media and various technologies to help parishioners connect with the parish, and each other, to more deeply experience our Catholic traditions and our shared faith.

* We're taking pictures of events, making electronic collages, videos, and slideshows!

* We're recording the voices and stories of parishioners, and helping them to feel comfortable sharing their written and visual work with others

* We're writing biographies of our parishioners, staff, and volunteers, to help them tell their stories

* We're reviewing spiritual works and books for inclusion on our website

* We're looking for on-line resources that we can make more approachable

* We're using technology to bring a personal element to the parish
