How can I Welcome Christ into my life?

Pray.
Pray each day. Think about what you are thankful for, or what you are struggling with. Is there anything “big” going on in your life, or in the life of someone you know? Talk to God, He is there with you always.

Find a Priest.

Find someone who you can talk to, someone you are comfortable with. Talk to
Fr. Paul, Fr. Gonzalo, or Fr. Joe. They can answer your questions about faith and the Church, and they will listen to you. They will certainly help you in your journey to a life closer to Christ.

Read the Bible.

Try to develop a regular reading schedule. There are many “structured Bibles” out there that can help with this, both online and in area bookstores.

Go to Mass.

Being Catholic is all about being active in the community. Attending Mass regularly is very important to making this community feel real. You’ll learn a lot about your faith, and you’ll feel much closer to the community if you attend Mass.
Our Mass Schedule is displayed right over there >>>

Participate!

As you become more comfortable, take an active role in church. Consider joining our Choir, or one of the many other opportunities at St. Joseph’s.
Remember: We’re here all week long, and there’s a lot to do!
