St. Joseph Catholic Youth Ministry’s mission is to meet the needs of youth through teaching, fellowship, service, community, and prayer. The program is designed to be comprehensive as directed by the US Bishops’ document on youth ministry — Renewing the Vision. Our goals are: • To empower young people to live as disciples of Jesus in our world today; • To draw young people into responsible participation in the life, mission, and work of our Catholic faith community; • To foster the total personal and spiritual growth of each young person. The Catholic Youth Ministry (CYM) operates for, by, and with high school students (grades 9 through 12) and middle school students (grades 6 through 8). Each group has a youth council and advisers who help support the program in countless ways. If you would like more information or are interested in joining or helping our Youth Ministry, please contact Chris Wesley at firstname.lastname@example.org.
