Youth Ministry

Did you know God has a plan for your life? Sometimes it’s hard to understand that plan until you take a look at what Jesus said. During Lent we want to challenge middle and high school students to take a look at Jesus’ most important words that He shared with His followers while on Earth.

March 17: Jesus prayed for unity so His people could live in harmony.

March 24: You can be real about what you feel and still trust Jesus.

March 31: Jesus died and rose because He loves you.

April 7: Your failures don’t take away Jesus’s love.

April 14: Palm Sunday Adoration (Families welcome to join us)

St. Joseph Catholic Youth Ministry’s mission is to reach teenagers looking for more to life than what the world is offering them. It’s an opportunity to not only learn more about the Catholic faith but what it means to have a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Serve With Teenagers

What if serving the next generation could have an impact on your own faith? What if it could help you get to know more about God, the Catholic church and connect you to life-changing relationships?

Here are a few ways you can get involved:

Small Group Leader (For The Edge and The Underground) – Building long term relationships with teens and their families to help them understand that God has a plan for them and the church is here to help them find it.

Station Leader (For The Edge and The Underground) – Responsible for creating a welcoming environment at our youth programs for teens, and visitors by setting up rooms, decorating our spaces and helping out behind the scenes.

Advisors (For Confirmation Only) – Helping candidates develop their God-given identity through Christ-like habits and faith-deepening resources. Advisors also work with parents and sponsors in the equipping of their child’s formation.

Communications and Support Team (All Youth Programs) – Assisting with the clarity in communication and sharing of resources to candidates, parents, and sponsors.
