Small Groups

Posted on:

We all “belong” to groups. When we have something in common, we like to share that experience with someone. Participating in a SMALL GROUP is a way for those of us to walk together in Jesus’ footprints as we learn more about and share our faith with others. The result is feeling connected, growing in our love and understanding of God in our lives, and sharing in fellowship. Why not take the step to join a parish small group today—or try it out during the six weeks of Lent. There’s something for everyone! Contact Marie Lybolt, Director of Religious Education,

YOUNG ADULTS looking to find community and talk about faith should jump into one of our Alpha small groups Tuesdays, 7-9 pm in Joe’s Cafe. Alpha is a series of sessions exploring our faith. Each talk looks at a different question around faith and is designed to create conversation. To learn more, visit our Young Adult Page:, connect with us on Facebook @sjpyoungadults or contact Chris Wesley, Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministry,

The Wild Goose Project is a simple attempt to invite Catholic Christians into a more profound life-giving relationship with the Holy Spirit. This is a relationship marked by the love of God which breathes life into our daily existence. The Holy Spirit is not merely something relegated to Confirmation but the Spirit desires a relationship with us that will take us on the greatest adventure imaginable; a journey to the very Heart of God.
Sundays, 10:30–11:30 am in the school conference room. Register:

THE GRAND ADVENTURE: A New Call to Grandparenting was created in response to an observed need in today’s society to make better use of the grandparenting connection in family life. The program was inspired by and modeled from the many dynamic and committed grandparents who share their time, talent, gifts and charisms with their grandchildren.
Plan to attend an informational session on Monday, February 25 at 10 am in Joe’s Cafe. Small group session begins Monday, March 4 at 10 am and runs six weeks through Lent. Contact Marie Lybolt, Director of Religious Education,
